5 Tips on Cleaning the Bathroom

Date: 06-12-2017

Tip 1: TOILET BOWL

Disinfecting the inside of the toilet is one of the things you should do first. Flush the toilet. Then apply your choice of toilet bowl cleaner like our Green Rhino Toilet Disinfectant Cleaner by spraying under the rim and onto the bowl. Agitate using a toilet brush. Let it sit for awhile for the product to work. While waiting, you can start cleaning and disinfecting the different surfaces in your bathroom. After the dwell time, scrub the toilet bowl and flush.

Tip 2: CLEAN IT FIRST

Wipe off using a clean and damp microfibre cloth or duster any dirt or dust accumulated on areas like lighting fixtures or shelves. Start from top to bottom. End with vacuuming the floor and getting rid of that unwanted debris like hair! This will make disinfecting your bathroom much more effective!

Tip 3: DISINFECT THE RIGHT WAY

Before disinfecting, the surface must be free of any unwanted debris or dust that will make disinfectants less effective. Spray disinfectant on all the possible surfaces in your bathroom (walls, sink, tub, counters, toilet). Use a clean cloth or sponge to help spread the disinfectant especially on hard to reach places. Wait for around 10minutes (dwell time depends on the product you are using) for the disinfectant to work. After the dwell time, rinse the surface thoroughly. Wipe to dry!

Tip 4: GLASS AND MIRRORS

Spray the glass cleaner like the Green Rhino Enviro Glass & Mirror Cleaner into a clean cloth. Wipe the glass or mirror from left to right and top to bottom. Buff dry with a clean cloth.

Tip 5: FLOORS

Dust mop the floor to remove any unwanted dust or debris. Using a mop and a bucket, and your choice of Floor Cleaner, clean the floor using the “Figure 8” motion. Start from the farthest corner of the room and finish at the door. Allow the floor to dry!
